The National Theatre has partnered with Sauce Supper Club to deliver a pop-up dining experience at the theatre’s House restaurant this April, curated by the final four contestants of 2018’s MasterChef: The Professionals.
Attendees will get the chance to taste an eight-course menu curated by the final four contestants from last year’s MasterChef: The Professionals – Laurence Henry, Dean Banks, Oliver Martin and Matthew Ryle.
Held on 15 and 16 April, evening diners will be served eight mouth-watering dishes including halibut Goan curry and chocolate sphere with hazelnut and passionfruit. On 16 April there will also be the opportunity to attend a four-course lunch at £85pp with dishes including Trout, Cucumber, Wasabi Mayonnaise and Green Tea and Short Rib with XO Sauce.
George Cardwell, deputy director of Enterprise at National Theatre, said: “We are incredibly excited to unveil this unique pop-up dining experience at the National Theatre. Sauce Supper Club delivers amazing foodie events up and down the country and we cannot wait to share this evening with visitors to London’s South Bank. With a menu created by four popular chefs, who have already showed us their talents on MasterChef: The Professionals, this is a dining extravaganza not to be missed.”
The first round of tickets went on sale on Thursday 31 January and sold out within two hours. Following the high demand a second release of tickets, at £150 pp, is due to go on sale this Thursday (7 February) via Sauce Supper Club website www.saucesupperclub.co.uk
